BSC offers a textbook fee refund for all GEM students who fulfill their GEM Completion Incentive. Students will work with a military advisor at BSC to map out their GEM course sequence. Once completed with their GEM courses, in accordance with the timeframe indicated on their completion contract, they will be eligible to apply for a refund of GEM textbooks purchased from the BSC bookstore.
You must submit the GEM Completion Incentive BEFORE THE END OF YOUR FIRST COURSE.
Finish all courses within the time allotted = 100% textbook fee refund Finish all courses within the time allotted + 1 GEM term = 50% textbook fee refund.
Ordering Textbooks
You can order books online. Once you are on the page, follow the steps to order your textbooks. NOTE: Along with putting your Student ID Number, starting with "W",in the Comment Box, on the Delivery Options Page during your check out, also put that you are a GEM student. When ordering your books make sure to have a copy of your class list with you to refer to the correct course numbers.
